Lionel Messi has officially joined PSG on a two-year deal following his departure from Barcelona. The Argentine will wear the number 30 shirt and earn around 1.2 million Euros a week after joining on a free transfer. Messi had agreed to take a 50% wage cut to play for Barcelona but La Liga refused to acknowledge the contract. He will join up with compatriots Leandro Paredes and Angel di Maria and former Barcelona teammate Neymar. It could also be France Footballs’s way of saying sorry for canceling the 2020 version of the event that Lewy was tipped to win. Chelsea won the new club of the year award for their UEFA Champions League triumph while Gianluigi Donnarumma of Italy picked up the coveted Yacine Trophy by beating out Edouard Mendy.
