October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Olympique de Marseille have marked it in a way that goes well beyond slapping pink on an existing shirt.

In partnership with PUMA, Les Marseillaises the club's women's team have unveiled a limited edition jersey designed specifically for the Octobre Rose campaign.

The shirt features a soft pastel pink base with white vertical stripes and gold detailing throughout. It is visually striking. But what makes it genuinely significant is what sits on the chest.

This is the first time in the club's history that a Marseille shirt has carried the Les Marseillaises dedicated crest the bespoke identity launched for the women's team in September 2025. For a women's team to have their own crest on their own shirt, designed for their own campaign, matters. It is a marker of identity and investment that the women's game has not always received.

The message running through the campaign is equally considered. "Tu ne seras jamais seule" meaning "you will never be alone. The club chose to centre the campaign around themes of remission, hope and solidarity, with long-term partner Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC, who have supported breast cancer awareness initiatives for over two decades, alongside the launch.

Les Marseillaises will wear the shirt for the first time on 18 October against FC Fleury 91 at the Francis-Turcan Stadium, a match dedicated entirely to the cause.
