Pep Guardiola and Manchester City Lineup £100m deal For Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish – Is Harry Kane Next?

A deal to take Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish to Premier League champions Manchester City is progressing

According to various reports filtering out from England, Manchester City and Pep Guardiola are close to agreeing on a £100m deal for Jack Grealish of Aston Villa. The English attacker is currently away with the three lions at EURO 2020 however, it looks like work is going on behind the scenes for him to move to Manchester.

Manchester City is a stacked team but all teams need a little rejuvenation. Pep Guardiola may have to do away with one of Bernardo Silva, Gabriel Jesus, Riyad Mahrez, or Raheem Sterling. Right now, only Phil Foden is safe in the Manchester City attack.

Captain Jack is the captain of Aston Villa and there is news that the Villains are even trying to tie him to a new contract (his contract runs till 2025). He is a player idolized at his boyhood club but the big boys have their eyes set on the phenomenon. Grealish scored 6 goals and assisted 10 more from the 14 big chances created before sustaining a shin injury that ruled him out of action from the 13th of February to the 13th of May. However, when he was fit, Jack was unplayable, mesmerizing defenses and opening spaces for his teammates. The deal will be a record for Manchester City.

At least until they make their move for Harry Kane. A move for the Tottenham striker is next on the agenda of the citizens. They have a Sergio Aguero-shaped hole in their squad, and they need the England striker to fill it. If there is any striker that can, it is Harry Kane. His 23 goals and 14 assists in the English Premier League won him his third Golden Boot award and the Premier League Playmaker of the Season award. If this deal is to happen, Daniel Levy must be assuaged. The problem is that he is not an easy man to please. Initial rumors state that the British businessman is scaring the village with a £200m price tag. Kane has made it clear that he wants to leave the club he has been at since 2004.
