PSG have completed the signing of centre-back/wing-back Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig for 16 million Euros.
The Paris FC youth academy graduate becomes the club’s third summer signing after Vitinha and Hugo Ekitike. He will sign a five year contract that ties him to Les Parisiens until June 30th 2027.
This move for Nordi Mukiele represents the drastic switch of PSG since the arrival of Luis Campos and Christophe Galtier. More French talent in the PSG squad and less stars.
Leonardo loved his star players, but the former Lille director builds a squad.
Nordi Mukiele signed for RB Leipzig in 2018 after an impressive Ligue 1 spell at Montpellier HSC. The 24-year-old can play both on the right side and in the centre of defence.
Nordi Mukiele has played 146 matches for Die Roten Bullen, contributing 10 goals and 11 assists in the process. He won the 2021/22 DFB Pokal with the club.
Born in Montreuil but originally from Paris, Nordi Mukiele represented France at U18, U19, U20 and U21 level, before earning his first full international cap for Les Bleus under Didier Deschamps, in a FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifier versus Finland, on 7 September 2021.
