Aston Villa have announced the signing of Norwich midfielder Emiliano Buendia. Say a prayer for Arsenal fans as just last week, the Argentine was reportedly top of their transfer list but today he is out of reach. Buendia will join the Birmingham club on a deal of around 34 million Pounds. The 24-year-old scored 15 goals and assisted 16 more to send Norwich back into the English Premier League after only a year. For his efforts, he was named EFL Championship player of the season, he was in the team of the season, and he also won the award for Norwich City Player of the Season.
If Dean Smith manages to hold on to Jack Grealish, they will have a very creative and dynamic team that could make a shock UEFA Champions League or at least Europa League push. The Villains can improve on their 11th place finish last term.
