adidas and Jamaica Football Federation Drop Culturally-Driven Jersey Collection ahead of 2026 World Cup
After recently released capsule collection, adidas Football and Jamaica football federation, in collaboration with the Bob Marley Foundation, has introduced a new Home and Away Jersey “Kit for Legends” release paying tribute to the late Allan “Skill” Cole former Jamaican international and close friend of Bob Marley.

The launch connects football and reggae through two distinct jersey designs that celebrate Jamaica’s cultural identity both on and off the pitch.
Home Jersey: Colours of Reggae
The home shirt draws directly from the vibrancy of reggae music and the emotional weight it carries. Drenched in bold gold with vivid green and ruby accents, the design reflects the visual language of a genre rooted in unity, resistance, and national pride.

Away Jersey: Reggae in Motion
The away kit takes a more interpretive approach. Built on a black base for depth and contrast, the jersey features gold, green, and ruby detailing inspired by sound waves and vinyl records. The graphic elements reference digital soundwaves captured during a Bob Marley recording session, blending sport with sonic history.

The result is a design that symbolises movement a reminder that reggae travels across borders and generations, echoing the same global journey Jamaican football continues to make.
Together, the two kits form a tribute not only to Allan “Skill” Cole, but to the shared cultural heartbeat of Jamaica, where football and music remain inseparable expressions of identity.
