Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of 16-year-old defensive midfielder Abdoulaye Kamara from Paris Saint-Germain. Before the move, he was playing for PSG’s U19 side and he is eligible to represent Guinea.
Dortmund’s head of the licensed player division and Signal Iduna Park legend Sebastian Kehl had glowing reports about the youngster. “Abdoulaye is a highly talented, and still very young, player who trained regularly with the pros in Paris, we hope that he’ll now develop accordingly in the senior section and take the next step.”
He joins Dan-Axel Zagadou and Soumaila Coulibaly as youngsters who have made the switch from Paris to Dortmund in recent years. The idea is for him to train with the U19’s and U23’s before making the step up to the senior team.
