EPL Round Up: Arsenal Fails to Win Again, As Liverpool, Manchester City Comes from Behind to Secure Late Victories

Unai Emery led Arsenal have failed to secure a win  in three EPL  games, losing to Sheffield United and  sharing points with Crystal palace and Wolves.

The afternoon  started brightly for the Gunners, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang  who stood  in for the dropped Granit Xhaka as captain opening the scoring to register his 50th goal for the club.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side got their reward when Raul Jimenez headed Joao Moutinho’s hooked cross past Bernd Leno into the bottom right corner to level the score line.

The North London club who last won an EPL game at the first week of October against Bournemouth have since then failed to secure a win in three consecutive games.

To this effect, Arsenal fans have called for the removal of Emery who failed to book a spot for the gunners at the champions’ league at last EPL and Europa League season.

Former United boss Jose Mourinho have been tipped to replace the under-performing Emery as Arsenal’s coach.

In other game of the EPL, League Leaders Liverpool came from a goal down to snatch three points from their host Aston Villa.

Late goals from Robertson and Mane saved Liverpool from conceding its first defeat of the season.

The game started with Aston Villa taking the lead in the 24th minute with a brilliant goal from Trezeguet however, goals from Robertson and Mane in the 87th and 90th minute denied Aston Villa a point at Villa Park.

In another game of the EPL title holders Manchester City also came from behind to defeat stubborn Southampton.

Southampton who took the lead 13 minutes into the game were unable to hold down the defending champions as second half goals from Aguero and Walker gave Manchester City a win at Etihad stadium.

Another team that failed to impress at their weekend EPL fixture Is Manchester United who lost to Bournemouth at the vitality stadium.

a goal from Jousha King at theclose of the first half was enough to give the host the needed three points however, efforts from United to level up the score line proved futile as the Ole Solskjaer led side were unable to convert chances at goal to actual goals.

Sheffield United 3 – 0 Burnley, West Ham United 2 – 3 Newcastle United, Watford 1 – 2 Chelsea, Brighton & Hove Albion 2 – 0 Norwich City.
