EPL: Arsenal Throws Away Two Goal Lead to Share Points with Watford as Everton Loses At Bournemouth

Arsenal have failed to secure a win in three EPL games as Watford comes from behind to hold the Unai Emery lead side to a 2-2 draw.

Visiting Watford at Vicarage Road the gunners were  looking to bag their second win of the 2019/2020 epl season.

Arsenal who should have been cruising home with victory after Aubameyang’s brace failed to make the third spot on the epl table after defensive error from Sokratis and David Luiz cost the gunners two second half goals.

The game had looked done and dusted at the break, but familiar chaotic scenes at the back gifted Watford only their second point of the season.

Arsenal had been threatening to give away a goal all game long with the way they were trying to play out from the back from goal-kicks. And it finally happened on 53 minutes when Sokratis’ pass went straight to Tom Cleverley, who thumped a finish past Bernd Leno.

The calamitous defending from the visitors got worse 10 minutes from time when David Luiz, for the second league game running away from home, gifted a penalty for a foul on Roberto Pereyra, who dispatched the resulting spot-kick.

Following the draw at Watford, the North London giant now sits on the number 7 spot of the league table.

In the other EPL game played today, Everton suffered a 3-1 away defeat against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Callum Wilson put the home team ahead in the 23rd minute after he was set up by Josh King.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalised for Everton a minute before half time with Richarlison providing the assist.

Bournemouth regained the lead in the 67th minute courtesy of Ryan Fraser’s effort.

The hosts put the game beyond the visitors in the 72nd with Wilson grabbing the third goal.
