Blind Unhappy With Manchester United’s Form, Says He is Still a United Fan

Ajax defender, and former Manchester united man Daley Blind has expressed his displeasure over the struggling form of his former club.

Blind who spent 4 seasons at old Trafford under Jose Mourinho and  Luis Van Gaal compared the current form of his former club  who sits on the 14th spot of the league table to their long-time rivals Chelsea.

United are currently 14th on the table with just two wins in nine Premier League games while Chelsea, on the other hand, are fourth on the table despite the transfer ban.

Blind who was impressed with the growth of Frank Lampard led Chelsea Fc said it was was ‘not nice to see’ United’s situation.

‘Of course, I’m not happy to see Man Utd and how they’re performing at the moment,’ the Dutch player said.
‘I’m still a fan of United and it’s not nice to see.

‘Regarding Chelsea, they are doing well, they have a good philosophy under a manager who wants to play out from the back.

‘They play different attacking football with a lot of youngsters and that’s nice to see.

‘From that perspective, it’s good. But if you’re talking about United then I’m not happy about that, of course.’

Blind would be in action as his team (Ajax) welcome Chelsea to Amsterdam in a Champions’ League group stage match on Wednesday.
