Bale Unhappy at Madrid Says He Was Made More of A Scape Goat

Wales winger Gareth Bale has admitted that he is Unhappy playing for Real Madrid at the 2019/20 season, following a turbulent transfer window where he came close to leaving Real Madrid.

Bale whose contract at Real Madrid was supposed to expire in 2022, was on the verge of moving to Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning before the transfer deal got called off by Madrid on July 28,2019.

The former Totten ham man rumoured to have a fall out with Madrid’s head coach following his bad performance at the club’s preseason campaign told Sky Sports that he was only made a scape goat than most others which was not fully fair.

“I understand I was made more of a scapegoat than most, I take it with a pinch of salt even though maybe it’s not all fully fair.

“Towards the end of last season was difficult, there is no denying that, not just for me but for the team” Bale said

Speaking on his stay at the Galaticos He further said “I wouldn’t say I’m playing happy but I’m playing, when I am playing I am professional and I am always giving all I can, whether that be for club or country.

“I’m sure there’ll be plenty more turbulence, to be honest. I suppose it is something you will have to speak to Real Madrid about and it’s between me and them, and we will have to come to some sort of conclusion.”

Bale who had a ‘not so good’ pre seasons campaign feels he has responded well at the start of the 2019/20 season after scoring two goals in three La Liga games
