Arsenal Gives Emery One Month to Savage Club Woes

Arsenal Manager Unai Emery have been given one month grace to turn club woes around or lose his job following clubs poor performance at the English premiership and EFL loss to Liverpool.

The Spanish manager has come under intense criticism in the past weeks with fans doubting his ability to manage the team especially after drawing Crystal Palace and Wolves in the two games.

Arsenal have however denied reports making rounds that Head of Football, Raul Sanllehi met with Former Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho but sources have that Unai Emery has just one month to turn Arsenal woes around or lose his job.

The Chiefs at Arsenal are willing to give Emery a benefit of doubt to change the state of things after their underperforming start to the campaign winning just two out of their last nine premier league game as the pressure for Champions League qualification still mounts on the Club.

According to The Mirror, Emery could face the door if Arsenal are in danger of missing out on the top four by Christmas but he (Emery) remains confident and has insisted he will not walk away.

On the other hand, Mourinho looks ready to make a comeback to managerial post and is waiting to take up the best job that comes his way. The Sun reports that the Portuguese ambition is to become the only manager to win major trophies at three Premier League clubs.

Additionally, according to many online betting sites, Arsenal is listed in the top 5 favorites clubs to win the league this year.

Mourinho’s long term feud with Wenger while at Arsenal and his criticism thrown at the club in the past could stir up controversy among Arsenal fans if he is made Arsenal boss.

Massimiliano Allegri has also been linked to taking over at the Emirates after been sacked as Juve coach as Mourinho is favourite for the Bayern job after Niko Kovac was sacked last night.

After arsenal winning only two of their last nine matches, it is obvious that Emery is underperforming, and needs to make some changes, especially when facing Leicester next weekend.

According to Eurosport though, emery’s real test will be in the next upcoming & winnable matches against Brighton, West ham and Norwich.
